Meagan's Pottery Club

More about the Maker

I started making pottery in the 9th grade, which I hate to admit is now over 20 years ago. I was put in a beginner’s ceramics class and I have been hooked ever since. Pottery is my art of choice and a great way to relax and express your creativity. I was not a natural at wheel throwing pottery at all. I spent almost every day in class practicing the wheel until I could get my techniques down. Switching any class I could to ceramics for the next 4 years.

After graduating I then ventured out to many other crafts and materials until finding my way back to pottery about 7 or 8 years ago. What started as a returned hobby eventually led to a full blown career! I quit my full time job to pursue my craft and stay home with my son. Hard but rewarding. My husband and I would load everything up for craft fairs and do mobile pottery painting parties until my Etsy shop was enough on its own.

This venture soon led me to another which is now CREATE. Studios. I am hoping that my trials and errors and learning can help others along the way to grow and succeed doing what they love. We are still learning and growing everyday. After taking another short break from my Etsy shop to get CREATE up and running I am now back to my craft. My Etsy shop is running again, Dreamland Kreations, and I am now starting a monthly pottery club!

If you enjoy handmade one of a kind functional pottery for your home this club is for you! Each month you will receive 1 new pottery item made by myself and a little something that goes with it. Please answer a short questionnaire to tell me a little about you and your home and preferences so I can personalize the items to you and your home. Only $40 per month subscription. There is no monthly minimum or requirement to join. You will be billed monthly on the same day you signed up. Item will be shipped between 2 and 3 weeks after your subscription date. Each item is individually made and painted, going through 2 weeks of drying and 2 firing processes before shipping to you.
